INTERVIEWS WITH MASIDO
MASIDO has now become the center for students’ research for studies regarding the Marikina Footwear & Leathergoods Industry since we re-opened last year January 2016, may it be for the industry history, update in status or issues concerning the Marikina footwear and the Philippine footwear industry in general.
If you are a student who would like to:
a. Make an interview with us for their research or studies, may you
be a high school student, college or a post graduate.
b. Seek guidance & mentorship for students who are:
- Doing their thesis regarding the Marikina Footwear Industry.
- Creating their footwear prototypes.
Here are the things you must do first.
We request that you follow this protocol as we constantly have students as well as businessmen who are requesting for appointments, too.
We’d appreciate it if you do not come to our office without an appointment to ensure that someone will be available for you to interview.
We follow the first come, first served basis.
To book your appointment, send us a letter of request through our email address: masidoshoeindustry@gmail.com.
Address the letter to the department head, Mr. Noel B. Box.
You can initially contact us through our Facebook page, but you must still send the letter of request to our email address so we can immediately process your request.
We will give you a feedback on the confirmation of your appointment.
Do not send your letter of intent by messaging it through our Facebook page.
Once you have your appointment, please come on time.
Bring with you a letter of recommendation signed by your adviser stating for what purpose the interview is for.
Prepare the list of all the questions that you need to ask during the interview.
If you wish to interview manufacturers we can assist you by matching you to manufacturers that would fit with your school requirements.
We will arrange your appointment with them & provide you with an endorsement letter.
If you find a list of the manufacturers & their contacts, you are also free to contact them on your own.

MASIDO trainings are free, which is why it is offered only to residents of Marikina.
